As you are aware that we, the Tabeer Foundation, have committed to ourselves to provide a 10+2 level school based on CBSE Board pattern to the people of my village and the surrounding region, which is situated in a remote area of Distt Katihar, located in the Seemanchal region of Bihar. This is an area where the access to good quality and affordable education is only a dream or just words. Also, since this was too big a venture/ commitment for a person of humble means like me, I approached my friends and well wishers to help and support me in realising this commitment. So far, with the support from you and other well wishers, I have been able to construct the ground floor, which comprises of 8 class rooms and office premises. The first session (2023-2024) with 180 students enrolled so far, for classes from Nursery to Std. 5, is almost coming to an end. We have 11 teachers; 6 vehicles and their drivers (as most of the children come from very far off areas) and 5 supporting staff. In short, the dream to bring affordable education closer to home for the people of this region has started taking shape. Here, I must confess, that this has been possible because of your trust and faith in me and my intentions. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous support. In the coming session (2024— 2025), we have set a target of 500 students, and we will need additional infrastructure for the same. We will need to construct extra rooms on the first floor. The work for the same has started and is in progress-we need support for the same to continue without hinderance. The ground floor was constructed with your support and blessings and some personal loans, part of which has been paid off and the balance will be settled soon. This appeal is to bring to your notice and to request the need for same support once again. Your blessings and support will help me take this venture further and also to help make a generational change in the society, especially in the lives of deprived, poor and lower income group people of a remote area.
